Rodolfo de la Torre Garcia received a B.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Master’s degree in Economics from Oxford University. He is currently the general coordinator at the Human Development Research Office (HDRO) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Mexico. He is editor of Bienestar y Política Social, a magazine published by the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), and is editorialist of the newspaper, El Universal. Rodolfo also leads the Mexican working group on topics related to poverty and inequality of the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association.
