ABOUT OUR CENTER

Mexico Advisory Board

The Mexico Advisory Board was created by the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies in order to elevate the presence and visibility of the Center in Mexico, to propose possible themes of important research for the Center, as well as to carry out high-profile events in Mexico.

Licenciado Jorge de la Rosa of Grupo Prisma has been chosen to lead the Board as President and act as the Center’s Council Advisor in Mexico for the next two years. The Center is honored to have de la Rosa in this position, as he has years of experience in both the public and private sectors. We are certain that he will add valuable contributions to the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies.

The Center’s Mexico Advisory Board held its inaugural meeting in Mexico City on September 21, 2004. The Board was recognized by U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Anthony Garza in a breakfast at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City on September 23, 2004.
