Dr. Wayne Cornelius (left) and Dr. Jorge Bustamante (right) receive an Excellence in Research Award for their work in U.S.-Mexican migration research and policy.

Panelists speaking at the event offered commentary on the state of debate on migration policy while recognizing the contributions of Drs. Bustamante and Cornelius. Both scholars recieved an Award for Excellence for their work in the development of research and policy on international migration and for bringing attention to the plight of Mexican migrants.
