Distinguished Speakers Series

Distinguished Speakers Series

The Distinguished Speakers Series is a program designed to bring high-level policy makers and the Center's community closer through forums on Mexico issues and current events; the series continues to evolve and break new ground as one of the premier speaker's series at UCSD. The series features experts on critical issues whom we consider to be especially dynamic and insightful.

These include:

Francisco Gil Díaz, Mexico’s Secretary of the Treasury

Adolfo Aguilar Zinser, former Mexican Ambassador to the United Nations

Víctor Lichtinger, Mexico's former Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources

Congressman Juan Molinar Horasitas (PAN)
Raúl Muñoz Leos, former Director General of Petroleos Mexicanos Congressman Manlio Beltrones Rivera (PRI)
Roger Noriega, Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs for the U.S. Department of State

The Distinguished Speakers Series at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies is made possible by generous support from the El Florido Group.
