Dr. Jóse Martínez

Joint seminar with the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies

Dr. Jóse Martínez recently completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of California, San Diego, and currently serves as a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies. His dissertation focuses on Mexican migration to the U.S.: the extent of the Mexican-born population in the U.S., the impact of globalization and the role of remittances on migration incidence in Mexico.
