The Dinosaur that Did Not Die: Mexico’s PRI.
Publications
Langston recently published an article with Scott Morgenstern in Comparative Politics that examines the role electoral campaigns played in the hegemonic era in Mexico, and found that campaigning was the direct responsibility of the PRI deputy candidates who were charged with maintaining close links between the national PRI and local leaders. She has also published articles in Comparative Political Studies, Party Politics, and Journal of Latin American Studies, as well as chapters in several edited volumes.
Academic Background
Langston holds a Ph.D. and Master’s in Political Science from Duke University. She graduated with special honors in the College from the University of Chicago with an A.B.
