Justice Reforms and Government Accountability in Mexico

Between 2002 until 2005, the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies coordinated a comprehensive research project on Reforming the Administration of Justice in Mexico (PRAJM). In September of 2005, the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies transferred the coordination of the project to the Trans-Border Institute of the University of San Diego (TBI). The Justice in Mexico Project, as it was named, continues the analysis of the major challenges to the rule of law in Mexico.

The PRAJM, however, continued with a new venture: the Government Accountability in Mexico project which focuses on the analysis of auditing of public resources in Mexican states.
